Making working and project time controllable and traceable
Before TimeTac, there was no suitable system in the company. Working time was recorded using Excel spreadsheets. These were inconsistent and not sufficiently controllable or traceable to meet, on the one hand, legal regulations and, on the other, internal requirements. Keeping track of vacation and overtime became increasingly challenging. For individual projects, project time tracking was occasionally used, but it did not enable comprehensive project handling. Working times were transferred into it manually. This form of documentation did not provide a reliable basis for calculations or performance analyses.
The solution
Projects, working time, overtime, and vacations in one consistent system
TimeTac is preconfigured by default and can be adapted on the customer side to the company’s respective requirements via settings. A contact person at TimeTac provides advice from the very beginning to define the optimal solution for time tracking. An onboarding service is optionally available. In this process, a contact person at TimeTac supports setup and data entry through to successful use. wolke blau implemented the setup independently:

With TimeTac’s web-based time tracking, time tracking and vacation management can be accessed from any internet-enabled device. At wolke blau, TimeTac is used on computers.
Project time tracking with hour documentation compliant with the health insurance fund at the same time
In TimeTac’s working time tracking, all working time models as well as statutory, collective agreement, company, and other requirements can be mapped, making it easier to ensure compliance with them reliably.
In TimeTac’s project time tracking, working times are recorded directly by projects, activities, orders, and customers. All projects are displayed in a clear tree structure, making it easier to plan the necessary resources. Projects can be analyzed and performance reports created with just a few clicks. All services performed and working times incurred are immediately available for review and can be used for billing.
Overtime and vacation days transparently in view
In vacation management, vacation days, overtime, and bonuses are automatically calculated correctly and displayed clearly based on the presettings in working time tracking. Managers and employees can access working times as well as absences, overtime, and vacation times at any time, or keep transparent track of them.
At wolke blau, an overtime balance can be carried over to the following month using a multiplier. “The desired adjustment was discussed by phone with our personal contact person at TimeTac and then implemented perfectly for us,” says Carola Ebert.
Automatic hour calculation
All recorded working times and absences are automatically calculated in the hour calculation based on the settings mentioned. Violations of statutory and other requirements are clearly visible, making it easier to ensure compliance reliably as well as payroll accounting.
